Lukather hatte schon seit über einem Jahr den GAS-808 NG auf seinen Boards und meinte dazu einmal: “Just wanted you to know how much I LOVE the box (GAS-808) you sent me. Nach solchen Eindrücken war ein Signature-Pedal natürlich nicht fern. Im April diesen Jahres wurde Luke nun von Ulrich Rodenberg persönlich das Rodenberg GAS789 SL überreicht, das offizielle Steve-Lukather-Signature-GAS-Pedal.
